Terms of sale

Terms of sale

These apply when you buy a physical product from us. They sit alongside your legal rights, they do not replace them, and nothing here takes away a right the law gives you.

1

Who you are buying from

Products are sold by Crosscheck Ai Limited, trading as Swift Assist, registered in England and Wales, company number 15971170.

Registered address: 124-128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX
Email: help@swiftassistuk.co.uk

We are a road risk data business that also sells a small number of vehicle security products. We are not an insurer, a broker, or a claims service, and we do not give legal or financial advice.

2

How the contract is formed

Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract comes into existence when we send you an email confirming that your order has been dispatched — not when you pay, and not when the checkout page says thank you.

If we cannot fulfil an order — because we have run out, because the price or description was wrong, or because we cannot deliver to your address — we will tell you and refund you in full. We will not substitute a different product without asking you first.

3

Price and payment

  • ·The price is the price shown on the product page at the time you order, and it includes UK delivery unless the page says otherwise. There is nothing added at the checkout.
  • ·We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged and none is shown. You will not receive a VAT invoice and you cannot reclaim VAT on the purchase.
  • ·Payment is taken by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
  • ·If a product is listed at an obviously wrong price, we are not obliged to sell it at that price. We will contact you before doing anything, and you can cancel for a full refund.
4

Your right to change your mind

You have 14 days from the day the goods are delivered to tell us you are cancelling, for any reason at all, and you do not have to give one. This is your right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Full details of how to cancel, who pays return postage and when you get your money back are on the delivery and returns page, which also carries the cancellation form.

5

If something is faulty

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If they are not:

  • ·Within 30 days of delivery you can reject the goods and get a full refund.
  • ·After 30 days and within six months you can ask for a repair or replacement. If that fails, you can get a refund, which may be reduced to reflect the use you have had.
  • ·Faults appearing within the first six months are presumed to have been there at delivery unless we can show otherwise.

Some products also carry a manufacturer’s warranty. That is in addition to the rights above, never instead of them. Do not let anyone — including us — tell you that a warranty has expired and therefore you have no claim.

6

What a security product does and does not promise

A signal-blocking pouch defeats the relay attack. It does not make a vehicle theft-proof, and no product sold anywhere does. It has no effect on theft through the diagnostic port, key cloning, a stolen or copied key, forced entry, or a vehicle taken on a recovery truck.

We say this on the product pages and we are repeating it here because it matters: if a vehicle is stolen while you own one of our products, that is not in itself evidence that the product failed, and buying it does not transfer the risk of theft to us.

Faraday pouches also degrade with use, and a worn pouch looks exactly like a working one. Every product page tells you how to test yours and how often. Please do it.

7

Our liability

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking this contract or failing to use reasonable care and skill.

We do not exclude or limit our liability in any way where it would be unlawful to do so. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and for breach of your statutory rights in relation to the goods.

We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or for loss arising because you used a product in a way it was not intended to be used or without carrying out the checks the product page describes.

8

Complaints, and the law that applies

Email help@swiftassistuk.co.uk and we will reply. If we cannot resolve it between us, you can contact Citizens Advice, and you retain every right to take the matter to court.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may bring proceedings in your own courts.
