Swift Assist is a road safety data business. We process the collision, crime and injury records government publishes, map them, and give them away. Councils, consultants, campaign groups and newsrooms commission the deeper work.
Government publishes an enormous amount about how dangerous Britain's roads are, and almost none of it in a form anyone can use. Half a million collision records sit in files most people never open. Street-level crime data updates monthly and goes unread. We take those files, clean them, join them to places, and publish the result as maps and tables anyone can search in seconds.
Most of it is free, permanently. Residents' groups, campaigners, councillors, journalists and students pay nothing, because work that gets used in public gets checked in public, and that keeps us honest. Councils, transport consultants and developers commission the deeper analysis: site and junction reports, corridor studies, before-and-after evaluations of schemes.
