Our analysis of 2025 DfT collision records counted 14,959 collisions involving motorcyclists — 5,905 of them (39%) left the rider killed or seriously injured. How does a helmet camera work?
A helmet camera records continuously in a loop from the rider's point of view, capturing what you actually saw, including mirror checks and the vehicle that pulled out. After a SMIDSY collision, that footage replaces an argument about who did what with a timestamped sequence and a readable registration plate.
